This map was commissioned by Brighton and Hove City council Communities, Equality & Third Sector Team as part of the new Accessible City Strategy.

This is a map of my world. As a disabled woman with severe mobility issues, getting around and living in my city comes with a lot of issues, a lot of them are unknown be most people from able communities. This map represents the barriers that i face in day to day life, because a city is more than just a group of buildings and streets. it is where we live our lives.

The businesses that I have named in my map are my safe havens. Accessible spaces that I feel confident to use.
